Each week Big 5 Sporting Goods receives hundreds of requests for donations and sponsorships. Due to the number of requests we receive, we limit our charitable contributions to fundraisers and donations in the form of a Big 5 Ticket to Shop eCard, redeemable in-store at any of our convenient locations. These eCards can be used for raffles, auctions, prize giveaways and drawings and have an expiration date of 5-6 months. Unfortunately, we are unable to purchase advertising space, sponsor individuals, teams, or organizations.

Donation Criteria

To allow ample time for use of the Ticket to Shop eCard, donations are processed 3-4 weeks before the event date. You may check the status of your request at anytime by logging into our Donations Portal. If approved, donations will only be given in Big 5 'Ticket to Shop' eCard format and emailed as an attachment to the address provided in the request. We limit donations to an annual donation per organization

In order to provide you an answer as quickly as possible, this online request system is the only way we consider a donation. We no longer take requests at store-level, via e-mail, phone, or fax.
